PMD Unity - Explorers - Overture Fable

I wanted to join PMD Unity. I'm actually a veteran user here on dA, but I wanted a fresh start. What better way than to join an active group? To be honest, this pair is quite sinister and the only reason I decided that they should be explorers is because I liked for them to have a hat. I know I can always earn them later, but like I couldn't make a design without it.

DESCRIPTION

Not much is known where Mimosa came from. Not only was this Spritzee a Shiny, but she was just oddly colored for a shiny Spritzee. She just appeared one day; comes and goes as she pleases - usually tailed by her modest watchdog, Gareth. Mimosa doesn't seem to have a grasp of anything and has this odd detachment from reality that makes talking to her just the most uncomfortable - especially with that one clear eye (though she can see just fine). Her goal in life is unclear and it is even more puzzling that she joined a guild - much less the Explorers Faction. Wouldn't someone like her be much more suited for the Hunter's Guild? But despite what others think, she does have a goal in life. What is it? To take over the world of course. Why else would she be here in the first place?

TRIVIA

- Mimosa is named after the sleeping plant that closes upon touching it (I used to have a lot of them back in my hometown).
- Her design is heavily based on the 'Plague Doctor Evolution' prediction that people thought Spritzee would evolve into before XY was released. I really liked the Plague Doctor idea and although I can't make a Pokemon like that, I realized Shiny Spritzee share the same coloring as Plague Doctor. Just make her colors less saturated and give a her a hat, it's almost as good as having a plague doctor evolution.
- Personality is somewhat inspired by Kyubey from Madoka Magica.

DESCRIPTION

Gareth has always been a troublesome individual at best. He didn't have the best personality - one could say that he had the absolute worst personality. However, he had the best battling abilities that would make any Pokemon jealous. Gareth was proud of this, he always has been. Proud of his moveset, proud of his typing, proud of his abilities - too proud. Gareth was never one to beat around the bush and would harshly critisize other Pokemon, weak and strong alike, about what they could do better. Gareth battled anyone who challenged him - big and small, strong and weak; mercy was not in his dictionary. What is his goal of this? To prove he was the strongest there is and to conquer the world. Eventually, Karma caught up to him and during a battle with a very angry group of teenaged Charmeleons, it proved too much for one simple Dragonair to handle. His nose was burnt, so was his tail. Ashamed of himself and his scars, he went into hiding - when he met a particular shiny Spritzee.

"What are you doing?" she asked him; Gareth was wounded and tired from losing.

"To take over the world." He answered, as he lay protectively curled.

"Ho-hum..." She said as if he was dumb.

"That sounds fun."

Ever since then, Gareth had become quiet. The violent dragonair was no more. He now follows Mimosa without a second thought. 

TRIVIA

- Gareth thinks his hat is very very cool, though they have problems with his wings on his head. To fit the hat, he snipped off part of his wings - its not like he was going to fly with them anyway.
